MEDICARE AND PRIVATE HEALTH REBATES

Clients with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) can receive a Medicare rebate of $137.05 per session. The gap fee or out of pocket fee, after the rebate, per session, is $97.95.

 

Medicare card holders are entitled to 10 sessions of Medicare subsidised Clinical Psychology sessions per calendar year (note the above gap fee).

 

Separately, private health rebates may also apply for some health funds for both face to face and online therapy (check with your health fund).

REBATES ONLINE THERAPY (TELEHEALTH)

I currently offer online sessions via video conferencing. The above pricing and rebates apply to online sessions where clients have a Mental Health Care Plan.
