I offer competent guidance to help supervisees develop their schema therapy skills and understand the schema model and its nuances such as how the mode and schema models interact, how schemas and modes perpetuate a client’s difficulties and how and when to implement experiential techniques.

MY APPROACH
I understand that implementing Schema Therapy techniques can initially feel complicated and even clunky. I provide practical direction and model experiential techniques so techniques are easier to implement.
Above all, I encourage my supervisees in the challenging and beautiful work they do to help clients thrive.

My name is Tena (pronounced Ten-uh), I have been working with clients for 18 years and continue to gain enormous satisfaction from supporting others.
I work with adults in private practice with high prevalence disorders along with common personality disorders such as BPD.
I offer clinical supervision for therapists who are committed to professional growth. I also create easy to use, clear and comprehensive schema formulation and treatment guides to streamline formulation and treatment planning.
