About Tena Davies

What I do

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Advanced Certified Schema Therapist, Supervisor & Trainer, and PsyBA Supervisor with over 18 years’ experience. I work in private practice with adults in Melbourne, Australia.  I love to learn, teach and above all simplify schema therapy techniques so they feel more accessible and workable. I offer individual supervision for accreditation and general schema supervision, schema therapy group supervision, and training.

Why I created this chairwork course

Clients come to us wanting to change but are often stuck in old, self-defeating patterns. I know first hand how hard it can be to shift stuck clients but I also know how chairwork can be used to shift perspectives and instil hope. I want to support other schema therapists to use chairwork change techniques so they can experience the satisfaction that occurs when a client relinquishes resistance and embraces change for good!
